122nd anniversary of Philippine Independence
Mines and Geosciences Bureau Region 02 joins the nation in celebrating the 122nd anniversary of Philippine Independence through the conduct of "Pagpupugay sa Watawat" or Salute to a Clean Flag activity on Monday, 8 June 2020 with the theme: " Kalayaan 2020: Matatag na Bansa, Mamamayang Malaya." Regional Director Mario A. Ancheta led the reading of the Salute to a Clean Flag Manifesto.
The activity aims to promote love and respect for the Philippine flag to show the unity of the Filipinos amid the coronavirus pandemic.
