Tuguegarao City, Cagayan- The Didipio Mine located in Kasibu across the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino led a mine tour for the media practitioners in region II held last March 25, 2022. 

The mine tour aims to showcase responsible mining operation as well as to give light and understanding on the safety and health, environment, and social development programs of the company.  Our company is subject to regular monitoring and inspection by various government agencies and the Multipartite Monitoring Team (MMT),” Ryan Gantalo, Senior Geotechnical Engineer of Didipio Mine said. The mine tour includes a visit in the open pit mine, processing plant, Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), water treatment plant, and underground mine.

During the tour in the underground mine, “Refuge chambers are installed in case of emergencies for the safety of our employees,” Jay- ar Dinamling, Safety Supervisor said.
