FCF revitalizes POs’ livelihood activities

After developing a strategy called Community-Driven Sustainable Livelihood Development Program, the Livelihood team of the Community and Social Development Department (CSDD) jump-starts its plan through the conduct of livelihood suitability and training needs assessments (TNA) to 13 of the 15 organized People’s Organizations (POs) or community-based associations in Barangay Runruno last November 2015.

Despite the heavy downpour of rain that caused inaccessibility of some roads going to the Barangay Hall, Runruno locals still flocked to the Barangay Multi-Purpose Hall to avail of the the medical,dental and optical services offered as part of the Barangay Runruno Christmas celebration last December 19, 2015.
FCF holds symposium to plan community climate change adaptation

Due to adverse impacts being experienced in some parts of the community of Barangay Runruno such as flooding, landslides and erosion every time an extreme weather condition like typhoon passes by the province, a one-day Symposium on Community Resilience and Adaptability towards Climate Change was organized by the Community and Social Development Department (CSDD) and was spearheaded by its Information, Communications and Education (ICE) section in Barangay Runruno Multi-purpose Hall last December 3, 2015.
